Global Week

We recently joined students and colleagues to celebrate the rich cultural diversity at NTU.

Global Week was a festival of music, food, dance, cinema and drama from around the world. There was everything from belly dancing performances and international movie nights to drumming workshops, global sports and much more.

IDO team fundraise for university’s ‘1 in 2 day’


The International Development Office team recently took part in a day of fundraising for the John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre based at our Clifton Campus.

Activities included a cake sale, a quiz, and a ‘fuddle’. A fuddle is a gathering of people where everyone brings along a food dish as a contribution to a communal meal.

In the QS Best Student Cities 2017 rankings Nottingham came 4th in the student view category based on a survey of students and graduates.

New Nottingham Business School online guide for counsellors

Nottingham Business School have produced a new guide for counsellors whose students are interested in applying to one of their postgraduate courses.

In the guide you will find more information about the modules students will study as well as details about placements, employability and the facilities at the school.

Chinese New Year Easter

Chinese students from NTU and University of Nottingham celebrated Chinese New Year together in style in Nottingham last month with performances and celebrations at the Nottingham Trent Students' Union.

Nottingham Trent University will close for the Easter holiday period on Friday 14 April 2017 and will re-open on Wednesday 19 April 2017.

If you celebrate Easter we’d like to wish you a happy Easter break.


The next application deadline for our international scholarships is Monday 24 April 2017.

Our scholarships give students a fee reduction and the opportunity to be part of our Scholarship Rewards Scheme.

To apply for a scholarship, students must have an offer for September 2017.
